A Few Ounces of Prevention…—how and when to use Rosehips, Stinging Nettles, Rosemary, Oatstraw, and Ashwagandha to help prevent and relieve stress reactions, pain, and generally support your nervous and immune systems during busy times. I'll show you how to easily make delicious infusions, decoctions, and a vinegar, all of which you'll get to taste.

Weeds Heal? Trusting our Senses
Instructor: Isla Burgess, MSc Dip Tchg, Dip HM. FNZAMH.
In this two hour participatory workshop we used local plants to discover how tasting, touching and smelling a plant are a part of uncovering the language of plants. Participants learned how to tell if a plant has alkaloids, saponins, or salicylates.

This participatory intensive focused on digestion and the use of real life case studies to illustrate the importance of the digestive system in overall health. Isla also engaged participants in the language of plants and taught how to fine tune their use in healing.
